If students are going to design and build what’s next, they must design and build in school today. That’s engineering.

Doing hands-on, technology-assisted, exploratory projects—doing engineering—gives every student practice solving problems while connecting theories to real world concepts. By teaching young people to ask insightful questions, embrace uncertainty, and plan holistic solutions, we harness students’ natural curiosity and instinct.

It’s time for engineering to take is place in all levels of education so we can:

  1. Develop students’ essential problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  2. Motivate more students to enter STEM college programs
  3. Retain more STEM majors through college and on to graduation
  4. Build a stronger engineering workforce
